The Gaybors Group internship
The Gaybors Group welcomes members of the LGBTQ+ community for an immersive internship program based in Thailand.
This is a unique opportunity for LGBTQ+ individuals to join a fast-growing global brand at an early stage—contributing meaningfully to its development while gaining hands-on experience in an international, purpose-driven company.
Set in the heart of northern Thailand, interns will be part of a creative and collaborative environment where work, culture, and community intersect. You’ll join a diverse team of LGBTQ+ members from Thailand and around the world who are actively building an inclusive ecosystem while expanding its global reach.
the program
Interns are fully supported throughout their stay to ensure a focused and enriching experience.

GAYBORS VILLA
Interns stay at Gaybors Villa in Chiang Mai, a thoughtfully designed space for comfort and community, with private en-suite bedrooms, an on-site chef, housekeeping, a driver, personal training, co-working and outdoor spaces, and curated events—all supporting your mental, physical, and creative growth throughout the program.

CO-WORKING SPACE
Interns have access to a dedicated coworking space which includes a desk, a podcast studio, and a variety of shared areas for teamwork, brainstorming and creative exchange. In addition, interns receive a beverage allowance to stay refreshed throughout the day.

STIPEND
Interns receive a stipend tied to the completion of agreed deliverables, as outlined in the internship agreement. With accommodation, utilities, and meals provided, the stipend—aligned with the cost of living in Chiang Mai—is designed to support day-to-day expenses and allow interns to fully enjoy the experience, including participation in group trips.

NETWORKING
Interns have the opportunity to engage directly with LGBTQ+ leaders, entrepreneurs, and businesses. Through curated workshops and networking sessions, participants will build meaningful relationships while gaining valuable skills, insights, and real-world experience alongside some of the country’s most influential LGBTQ+ voices.

GROUP TRIPS
Interns can join group trips designed to explore some of Thailand’s most beautiful and culturally rich destinations. Participants engage with local culture, experience regional customs and explore Thailand’s gayborhoods in a meaningful and memorable way. These shared adventures foster genuine connection, mutual discovery, and lasting friendships that extend well beyond the workplace.

RETREATS
Interns have the opportunity to attend one of the retreats free of charge. The retreats bring together artists, creators, and drag performers in spaces designed for expression, collaboration, and connection, with each retreat culminating in a must-experience event in Thailand, such as Pride. Retreats foster a sense of chosen family rooted in belonging and queer joy.
the expectations
This internship is designed for individuals who are excited not only to experience Thailand, but also to contribute meaningfully to a growing global LGBTQ+ brand.
Interns will be assigned specific roles and responsibilities based on their experience along with passions within the company and are expected to commit to structured working hours in the office. This is a working internship—ideal for those who are motivated, reliable, and eager to gain real-world experience in branding, community building, media, operations, or related fields while working with and for the LGBTQ+ community.
We are looking for individuals who bring both passion and discipline: people who want to learn, explore, collaborate, and also deliver meaningful work that moves the brand forward.
Once the intern arrives in Thailand, we provide a comprehensive orientation, including a tour of Chiang Mai that covers essential information for day-to-day life. We also assist with setting up their eSIM card and insurance, and the experience concludes with a welcome dinner with the team.
