I’ve spent 30 years of my life in and around drag. In clubs and stages across the globe, watching this art form grow into the global cultural force it is today. Through all that time, one thing has remained constant: drag has always been about creativity, resilience, and community.

As drag gained visibility, opportunities didn’t always grow equally for the artists themselves. Too many performers still faced barriers to booking, access, and professional support. Drag in Demand was created to change that.

At Drag in Demand our mission is simple: build an artist-first platform that connects drag talent, from local performers to international stars, with new audiences and new opportunities. We believe in removing gate keeping, expanding markets, and treating drag artists as the professionals they are.

For me, this mission is deeply personal. Drag helped shape the communities I belong to and the chosen family that has supported me throughout my life. Drag in Demand is our way of giving back, creating more visibility, more opportunity, and helping ensure this art form continues to thrive for generations to come.

Because drag isn’t a trend. It’s an art form. And it deserves a future as bold as the performers who bring it to life.
